We will take a look at different kinds of prayer as well as theological perspectives of prayer, including ways that prayer may change people, and ways biblical prayer has been shown to change God.
October 16—November 13—”Father Abraham’s Many Children: The Bible in a World of Religious Difference by Dr. Tyler D. Mayfield
Mayfield asks the question, “Can our particular sacred texts help us live harmoniously in a highly diverse and intensely interactional world? We will explore how the call ad command of Christian scripture helps people connect being faithful to the Bible and contributing citizens in a diverse nation and world.
